We love this place! I will say it's a bit pricey so we only go when we would like to treat ourselves which these days is not as often as we like to but the BBQ is amazing and the corn is to die for!!  We also love the coconut cream soda!! 😋

I wish I could give food a 4.5 stars. It’s really good, I came in for Brisket (moist) and only because place across the street who served lunch until 2 yesterday (I got there after 3) but served lunch today (Saturday) until sometime 1:30 or earlier so two days in a row I tried to get cooked smoked sausage from them to no avail. So luckily I saw Schoepfs. The staff was super friendly, it’s a bit confusing for the 1st timer if you come in through the wrong door…
I ordered a 1/4 lb of moist brisket and then I was informed they had Picañah today so I had to get a 1/4 lb of it (love it at the Brazilian steakhouses), then beef rib which has sometimes been a favorite at another TX Top 50 BBQ place and lastly I wanted to give the pork belly burnt end a chance to wow me (I love bacon and I have tried some burnt ends that I loved as well). Oh my goodness then the SIDES…Wow, so hard to decide they all looked wonderful!!!
Moist brisket and sopapilla cheese cake were my favs. The brisket was so tender and easy to cut with my plastic utensils. I was so thrilled when they also offered chimichurri sauce as well as horseradish sauce with the picañah. Of course they had their BBQ sauce (which seemed to be a balance of sweet and savory not much with some vinegar and light on the heat/spice/kick) pickle chips, pickled onions and regular white onions.
The pork belly burnt ends had a slight kick and was definitely more of a fatty pork than a smoked bacon so it was probably my least favorite of the meats.  The chimichurri sauce was super herby I couldn’t taste any garlic in it. The horseradish sauce tasted like sour cream mostly, texture was as suspected but lacked enough horseradish for me.
I got the charro beans and the green beans they were both equally good.

I highly recommend this place they had large horse photos like head/face shots and I was wishing I was eating there so I could check it all out it all looked like it was new and I saw the stage along with the outdoor seating / eating area where they also had a good # of portapotty’s on site as well in the outdoor entertainment area.

Other sides I didn’t try were street corn, German potato salad a regular potato salad, shells and cheese, Spanish rice, broccoli salad, cucumber salad and do t remember what else. Tres leches cake and a banana pudding. Also looked like they had a variety of teas.  I think I might need to move to Belton. The staff were friendly and helpful.
